Shuttle bus information: Shuttle buses will depart from Hood Street at the Tacoma Art Museum (google map here)
First bus leaves at 4:30 am
Last bus leaves at 6:30 am
Do not wait for the last bus
Returning Shuttles: 9:00am - 1:00pm
The return shuttle is one bus that continually goes back and forth between Tacoma and the Gig Harbor airport - there may be a wait, especially if you just missed the departure.
Limited parking is available at the Tacoma/Narrows Airport.
We highly recommend parking in Tacoma and taking the bus to the start before that race.
Parking options in downtown Tacoma
- Street parking is free on Sundays in the city. Some private parking lots will charge - make sure to check if you park in a lot that requires pay.
- There is limited parking at the Marathon/Half Marathon/Marathon Relay Start, shuttle buses will be running back to the airport throughout the day. You can catch the shuttle buses at the Tacoma Art Museum.
- Please do not use the Art Museum Parking Lot for parking your car! We will set up the finish line in that lot and will block your car (best case scenario).
